This unit plan was designed by Alijah and Gaby for a 10th-grade history class at Common Grounds. The unit — "Whose History is Told? Power, Voice, and Historical Narratives" — walks students through a week of disciplinary literacy, culturally sustaining pedagogy, and student-centered instruction.
